Biography
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, initially in the poster studio under Prof. Maciej Makarewicz, and later in the lithography studio under Prof. Konrad Srzednicki, where he received his diploma with honors in 1956. In 1959, he received a French government scholarship to study in Paris at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in the lithography studio under Prof. Pierre Clairin. He was a lecturer in lithography at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznań. In 1982, he was appointed associate professor at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznań. He was the recipient of numerous awards, including the Minister of Culture and Art’s Award for creative achievements and teaching (1971).
