Radoslaw Pytelewski is a very dynamically developing artist. He has been painting since he was very young. He didn't have an easy childhood, spending most of his life in foster care institutions. 'I will always paint' - these are his words that are often said in response to the question of how he sees his future. And he keeps his word, painting almost without rest. He currently lives in Warsaw. His works have received great recognition at numerous exhibitions in many Polish cities. In 2016, his works (prints) will be exhibited in museums in Groß-Gerau and Frankfurt (Germany). He is compared to the masters of painting, the names Picasso, Dali or Matisse are often mentioned. However, these comparisons do not capture the essence of the artist's work, as Pytelewski creates his own art and does not model himself on others. He paints with all techniques, and has mastered painting with acrylics on canvas to perfection. His favorite technique is oil pastels on cardboard. There he shows unsurpassed artistry. He paints with unbelievable lightness and yet incredible power. Many people call him the 'king of color'. He is able to use it to create extraordinary spaces and create unnamed dimensions of reality. His art is characterized by great expressive power and wild, even animalistic energy. Pytelewski is a discovery, such art has not yet existed. As Professor Leszek Wajda of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow put it, "when it seemed that nothing new could be invented in painting, Pytelewski appeared."
