Condition: pieces damaged, creases, cracks on margins and near folds, traces of folding vertically and horizontally, p.2-3 glued on edges with white paper, additionally glued with restorer's tape of the tear in the middle, in the place of folding, circles in pencil and red crayon, on p.2 glued strip of paper with description (for reproduction of the title of the novel in sections): "1:1". On p.1 under the vignette stamp: Editorial Board of Tygodnik satyr.-humor. in Warsaw.
A humor magazine, devoid of harsh satire, rather a collection of jokes and short stories, often on male-female subjects, decorated with rather frivolous small-format illustrations. The magazine's owners, Wincenty and Czeslaw Ostaszewski, also published the erotic magazine Warszawianka, pieces of which are offered in the same auction.
