Petras Rauduvė (1912-1994) was a Lithuanian graphic artist, one of the early creators of professional graphic art in Lithuania. Born in 1912 in Baukai (Daujėnai Vlsč.), he graduated from Kaunas School of Art in 1937 (studying under Adomas Galdikas). During and after World War II, he taught at the Kaunas School of Fine Arts and Crafts (1940-1945) and later at the Lithuanian Art Institute (1949-1951).
Rauduvė worked in the field of graphic art and applied decorative arts, and his activities were connected with the emerging professional graphic art school in Lithuania.
The significance of his work in Lithuanian art lies in the fact that he was one of the first graphic artists to develop this field of art, combining traditional folk and landscape motifs with the possibilities of printmaking techniques, and helping to consolidate the status of graphic art as an independent art form.
