The critical literature on Pan Tadeusz is quite rich: in addition to many dissertations and articles, placed at various times in peridian writings, it settles two larger, separately published studies: H. Zathey's and Dr. Biegeleisen's, especially the last of which has reached a very considerable size. In view of this, giving to the public the present work, I should justify its raison d'être.
Good state of preservation: period binding slightly rubbed and soiled, bindings wavy, pages with slight discoloration in places.
