Krotoski Kazimierz, until 1887 Szkaradek (1860-1937) - historian (Jagiellonian University 1887 PhD), educator, publicist, politician, author of hist. works and school textbooks. From September 1904 he was director of the newly founded gymnasium in Nowy Targ until 1919, when he moved to Poznan.
Krotoszyn (German: Krotoschin) - a town in Greater Poland Province, on the Kaliska Upland, the seat of Krotoszyn County and Krotoszyn Municipality. In the 15th century Krotoszyn belonged to the Krotowski family.
