Paweł Szadkowski - was born in 1957 in Toruń. He graduated from the State School of Fine Arts (now the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts). Pawel Szadkowski received a diploma in printmaking, drawing, painting and sculpture in 1982. His unusual, somewhat melancholic work surprises with its meticulous technique. The metaphors enchanted in Szadkowski's graphics invite us to an unexpected world of surrealism, where everything is possible. In this world, everyday, ordinary objects and naturals gain a fresh new means of expression. The stories told by the artist are full of emotion, lyricism and impressions. They teach both courage and sensitivity. Their subtle colors make them long-lasting in the memory and difficult to pass by indifferently.
