A model 35 garrison cap for a senior private (senior Uhlan) with a yellow band, manufactured between 1935 and 1939. Yellow trim was used, among others, by the 3rd and 14th Uhlan Regiments and the 10th Mounted Rifle Regiment.
The square crown is made of four olive-green cloth panels. The yellow band features a double bar in silver filigree on a red background, indicating the rank of corporal. A pre-war eagle (model 19) is visible on the front of the cap.
Black leather lining fastened with a buckle, secured by two pre-war buttons featuring an eagle with a crown; black fiber visor with an oval embossed signature (illegible).
The interior of the cap shows visible signs of wear; the sweatband is made of brown leather. Inside, there is a round stamp reading “Samuel Borek Warsaw, Cap Manufacturer.”
The item is in very good condition; its condition is visible in the photographs.
