Biography
Studied art at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń from 1949 to 1954. He received his diploma as a painter in the Department of Figurative Painting of Prof. Stanislaw Borysowski. He began his teaching career at his alma mater, and received the rank of associate professor after a conferral at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk in 1970. He received the title of professor of fine arts in 1990 and the position of full professor in 1992. He has educated 132 full-time graduates in the painting studio. The artist uses various forms of artistic expression, such as easel painting, monumental painting, creation of objects and spatial forms, as well as interior design and architecture.
