Parisian work by a Polish Post-Impressionist, pupil of Teodor Axentowicz, Stanisław Kamocki and Ignacy Pieńkowski, co-founder of the Zwornik group. After World War II, he co-organized the Higher School of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. His paintings in oils, watercolors and tempera are characterized by varied textures and warm, muted color palette alluding to the masters of the Hol. K. painted landscapes (Landscape of Puck, Landscape of Krzemieniec), still lifes (Crimean Still Life, Folk Flowers), genre scenes (Lullaby, Potato Picking).
