MAGAZYN POLSKI, is a monthly socio-cultural magazine, published from 1957 to 1990, which published columns, articles, trivia and information from the world of art, culture, fashion: most often reprints from domestic magazines and newspapers and translations from foreign press, unavailable in communist Poland. The covers of all issues of each yearbook were always linked by a leitmotif: satirical drawings by LECH ZAHORSKI on a strictly defined theme. The style, content and pocket format of the magazine caused it to be considered the Polish equivalent of "Reader's Digest," better in intellectual level than the American magazine.
