Studied painting at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznań from 1978 to 1982. He received his diploma in 1982. From 1983-1994 he was a lecturer at the school, and since 2005 he has been working at the University again. In 1983. He founded the group Koło Klipsa, which was active until 1987. Since leaving the group he has been working individually. In 1995-2002 the artist lived in the south of France. He works in painting, drawing, creates objects and installations. He is also the author of short poetic forms, fables and stories.
