Robert Kuśmirowski was born in 1973 in Lodz, Poland. Graduate installation, 105 x 190 cm (dimensions of the largest work)

Artistic Institute of Fine Arts at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, diploma in the sculpture studio of Prof. Slawomir Andrzej Mieleszka. In late 2002/2003, he was on scholarship at the Metal and Modeling Studio at the University of Rennes 2, Beaux-Arts Rennes. He was nominated for the "Polityka" Passports. In 2003, he was featured in the first issue of Raster magazine. In 2003, as part of an artistic action, he rode an A. Wolberg bicycle from the 1920s along the route Paris-Luxembourg-Leipzig.He currently lives and works in Lublin. He is affiliated with the Foksal Gallery Foundation in Warsaw. In 2009 and 2010, he presented Bunker, a mysterious and disturbing World War II bunker, at London's Barbican Centre. He has participated in exhibitions at home and abroad including: White Gallery (Lublin, 2002); "D.O.M." (Johnen und Schottle Galerie, Berlin, Germany, 2004); "The Ornaments of Anatomy" ( Kunstverein, Hamburg, Germany, 2005); "The Museum of The last Artwork" (Yerba Buena Art Center, San Francisco, USA, 2005); "Double V Post industrial" (Van Abbe Museum, Eindhoven, Netherlands, 2005); "Ornaments of Anatomy, Band 2" (Kunstverein, Hamburg, 2006); "Robert Kuśmirowski" (Migrosmuseum, Zurich, 2006); "DATAmatic 880" (Galerie Magazin, Berlin, 2007); "After Nature" (New Museum, New York, 2008); "Wake Up and Dream" (Signum Foundation, Venice, 2009); "Spectrum" (Kunsthalle Wien, Vienna, 2011); "The Power of Fantasy" (BOZAR, Brussels, 2011).
