Biography
She explores Abstract Expressionism, looking for new ways to interpret it. Her main inspiration is light - both natural and artificial and its influence on space. The artist creates unique paintings with neon lights on canvas, exploring how light can transform and enhance the meaning of abstract forms. These works have already been presented and sold at Young Art auctions, confirming her growing value on the art market. Julia Siewak not only experiments with form, but also promotes Polish handicrafts, using traditional artisanal techniques for making glass neon signs. Committed to sustainability, she uses local materials and consciously explores their properties, creating designs in harmony with the environment. She graduated from the Department of Journalism and Social Communication at the University of Wroclaw in 2011. She attended painting technique consultations at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw in 2017 and is constantly exploring numerous art courses including: MoMA: In the Studio: Postwar Abstract Painting, MoMa: Modern Art & Ideas.
