A well-minted piece. Coin from the collection of D. Marzęta.
The Wschowa shilling of 1600 is one of the most interesting coins of this mint. Along with the Poznań shekels of that year, for years they have been the object of disputes among scholars, even as to the date of minting, which used to be erroneously believed to be 1616. A large variety of shekels allows one to build an interesting collection. At the same time, recent years, thanks to the activity of Dariusz Marzęta, abound in a number of interesting studies, including catalogs of the shellac coin, thanks to which the novice collector gains access to information on the rarity of the variants in question right from the start.
Obverse: crowned royal monogram in a rope border, on its sides the abbreviation of the date 1-6, in the outer border the legend:

Reverse: in the corded rim the coats of arms of the Eagle, Pogoń and Lewart, above it the initial of the mint F, in the outer rim the legend:
SOLIDVS---REG-POLO-;
