At least 10 specimens of this coin have been discovered in Bazoches-les-Hautes. Little known just twenty years ago, more than fifty specimens have since appeared on the market, though often in poor condition and with casting defects. This specimen is undoubtedly one of the finest and most uniform we have ever seen.
