Piotr Krosny was born in 1959 in Poland. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and participated in a one-year art scholarship in Kyiv. He currently lives and works in Sweden. He was a recipient of the Warsaw Academy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Printmaking and Painting. His work was also awarded a Certificate of Excellence at the 1988 New York International Art Competition.
