Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. She received her diploma in 2022 in the intaglio studio of Prof. Jan Szmatloch and in the painting studio of Prof. Jacek Rykała. The artist participated in the latest edition of the National Exhibition of the Best Diplomas of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, she was also a two-time recipient of the award of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. Her works have been exhibited at many national and international exhibitions, including in Turkey, Spain, China and Thailand. The auctioned painting is part of her graduation series - "Absent, images woven from memories." In creating it, Bobak was inspired by letters, documents and photographs obtained from family archives and made them the basis of her reflections on her own (our?) identity derived from those who lived before us.
