Biography
Painter, graduate of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Zielona Góra (B.A. in 2005 under Leszek Knaflewski). He received an honorable mention at the 37th “Bielska Jesień 2005” Painting Biennial. He has presented his works at solo exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including at the Żak-Branicka Gallery (Berlin, 2014, 2011, 2010, 2008), the Kronika Gallery (Bytom, 2009), the BWA Gallery (Zielona Góra, 2009), and in numerous group exhibitions. He lives and works in Zielona Góra. Jankowski unsparingly exposes the human tendency toward destruction and appropriation. As an artist, he portrays reality with detachment. He does not hesitate to depict cruelty, the degradation of nature, violence against animals, and the blindness of greed, thereby showing that history has taught us nothing.
