Studied at the Faculty of Painting and Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, where she defended her diploma work in the studio of Prof. M. Swieszewski in 1999. "The signs appearing in my works flow from my imagination. Saturating myself with the charms of nature, I synthesize this world and present it in the form of symbols I have invented. Among the signs I use are those that can be explained by relating them to Christian symbolism: the symbol of the fish, the eye or wings, but also those that have no reference to concrete forms, abstract, arranged in specific, complex systems like old ideographic writing. These signs are not symbols to be read directly, they are rather signs that are riddles enticing the viewer's fantasies. They lead back to ancient mysticism, but without signposts."
