In 2008, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz at the Faculty of Textile and Fashion, majoring in Design. Since graduation, the artist has actively participated in the activities of the artistic community, presenting her paintings and textiles at exhibitions. Her works can be admired at group exhibitions, as well as at individual presentations, which are increasing every year. Recently Karolina Matyjaszkowicz has exhibited her works in Warsaw galleries: Foksal Foundation at the KREW-WERK exhibition, and Bohema New Art at the Zaświaty II exhibition, Częstochowski Cultural Center at the Zaświaty exhibition, and at the Museum in Łowicz at the Wianek exhibition. In previous years, the artist's paintings were presented at the exhibition Kaleidoscope at the Regional Museum in Brzeziny, [zoom] on SzczecinPoints of View at the Philharmonic M. Karlowicz in Szczecin and at the Roots exhibition at the Gardzienice Gallery in Lublin, the State Art Gallery in Sopot, the Central Textile Museum in Lodz, and the Wejherowo Cultural Center.
Karolina Matyjaszkowicz is the winner of many awards and prizes, including the Marshal of the Lodz Voivodeship in the competition for the best dissertations, master's theses and diploma theses thematically related to the Lodz Voivodeship. Matyjaszkowicz's paintings are in the collections of the Central Textile Museum in Lodz, the National Museum in Gdansk, the Regional Museum in Brzeziny, the Museum in Lowicz, and in private collections in Poland and abroad.
