Biography
Painter, illustrator and graphic artist. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. Obtained a diploma in graphics from Prof. Tadeusz Jackowski and in drawing from the studio of Prof. Jaroslaw Kozlowski. The professors under whose direction he did both diplomas had a significant impact on the development of the character of the painter's work. He perfected his painting workshop under Andrzej Lubowski and Prof. Andrzej Kurzawski. The artist himself said that: "the technique of oil painting is the closest to me because of the workshop, the freedom and liberty given to me by the colors and the very way of presenting a given image. The style and technique allows me to achieve a state of concentration that releases a powerful dose of inspiration. I can create illusionary paintings saturated with color and emotion, but stick to a specific form." The leading motif in the artist's work is women. Enchanting in their beauty and sensuality, arousing admiration, though sometimes also anxiety, emerging from the mists or coming out of the cobwebs. The artist's works have been exhibited at many events in Poland and around the world, including Amsterdam, London, Rome and New York.
