oil, canvas, 100 x 140 cm, signed l.d.: 'Kacper Marciniak' and described on the back: 'KACPER MARCINIAK | "Stray Souls" | 2026'.
In 2025, he received a master's degree in painting from Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa. In the academic year 2024/2025, he was a scholarship recipient of the rector. He has participated in plein-air painting workshops and internships abroad, including in Germany and Portugal.
The themes of his paintings touch on the problems of finding oneself in different spaces: real, emotional and mental. The artist explores human existence, sensitivity and the mutual influence that man and his environment have on each other. He is interested in the human condition at different stages of life - he explores the inner world of his characters' thoughts and emotions. In order to take an in-depth look at human beings, the author places them in the imaginary spaces he creates. Each character creates a separate story and tale about himself, which, when juxtaposed with the background, builds intriguing compositional tensions. He approaches his characters with empathy, which allows him to better understand their situation. Each painting becomes an attempt to freeze a specific moment in which an individual or a group of people find themselves.
