Igor Paliy's painting is matter-of-fact in its construction and luminous matter, somewhat reminiscent of the transparency of stained glass windows, but also the emotional effect of color of the Post-Impressionists, but at the same time full of reverie and concentration of Byzantine icons. Paliya's art is not an entertainment for the eyes only, as is sometimes the case in Western art. His painting is for concentration and contemplation. Thus, what we lack in our hectic lives.
The artist's canvases are bright, dynamic, filled with emotion and deep meaning. At first glance, they may seem to be painted on an emotional impulse, but Paliy takes his work very seriously and is rightly considered one of the most competent and technically precise painters of modern Ukraine.

Romuald Kulakowski - a Krakow-based painter and printmaker. In the 1980s the creator and painter of icons. In painting, he occupies a plastic area, on the one hand limited by realism, on the other by abstractionism.
