Henryk Mastalerz: "Three years ago I had a plan to paint 365 paintings for each day of the year. Every day one was to be created and have its own consecutive number. It was to be a series dedicated to my relationship with my little grandson, Bono. When the series was finished, I wanted to do an exhibition and publish an album with these works and poems for each of them. After a few months of work, large commissions for frescoes came in and I couldn't say no. Thus, I did not complete the project yet..."
