Acrylic, canvas, 100 x 80 cm, signed on the back
She is a graduate of Literary and Art Criticism at the University of Wroclaw (2012). She has been painting since 2018, and has developed most of the techniques she uses on her own, through experimentation. In her work one can observe a greater or lesser convergence with the techniques and approaches to painting of such artists as Cy Twombly, Joan Mitchel, Lee Krasner, Helen Frankenhalter, Maggi Hambling. She paints on canvases and on paper mainly using acrylic paints and inks. She draws ideas from her surroundings, often subconsciously processing them, as well as from visions, from meditative states and from dreams. Exploring this realm led to a trip to India, where she studied Dream Yoga and other meditative practices for nearly six months. There she also painted paintings, some of which are now in a private collection in London. Her search also took her to Peru, where she became involved with the local art organization OACY in the village of Yangas. The proximity to nature and exposure to a vibrant culture had a significant impact on the resulting works. She also created paintings in Edinburgh, where she lived for several years, drawing on its artistic atmosphere. She has recently been living in Gdansk. Her solo exhibition is in preparation and will be held at the Radziwill Palace in Antonin. It is organized by the Center for Culture and Art in Kalisz.
