Matter must surprise me, and creation is a very
dynamic, an experiment. When I do not feel that
I discover something with a given formula, I no longer continue this
method of creation. After all, matter cannot always be tamed
as I would like, and this is precisely the source of surprise,
and thus an adventure that I would probably never experience,
developing a purely digital work, for example. It's a matter [resin] that is very interesting - now that it has solidified, we can view ourselves in it, but at first it was completely liquid, noxious fumes escaping over it. When it dries, it ceases to be dangerous - apparently - and on the one hand it gains depth, suddenly becomes so deluded, plastic and mirror-like, and on the other hand, when it is broken, it remains extremely sharp to the touch, like the edge of a knife. The kind of this non-obviousness of textures, this tension is crucial for me. - Bartosz Kokosinski
