Anna STAWARZ (b. 1976), Mirage, 2026

acrylic, canvas, 100 x 70 cm, signed on the back.

Born in 1976 in Gdansk, Poland. She also creates under the pseudonym ArtAS. She is a self-taught painter whose creative path began with a sudden impulse in November 2024. Although her artistic apprenticeship is short, the intensity and maturity of her works have allowed her to debut in leading Polish auction houses and galleries.

Her paintings provide a space where sensitivity meets an oneiric vision of the world. The artist moves between atmospheric landscape, portrait and surreal composition, using saturated colors and light to build strong emotional states. In her works, she often explores the boundaries between reality and dreams, giving her paintings a reflective character. In her portrait work, she focuses on exploring the interior and emotional states of a person, creating images with a distinct psychological and dreamlike dimension.

Her work proves that passion does not need an academic framework to resound with full force, and that it is never too late to realize dreams. The artist's paintings are of growing interest to collectors, who appreciate her fresh perspective and bold, intuitive approach to form and color. The works regularly appear at contemporary art auctions and find buyers among private collectors.
