Biography
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, received his diploma in the atelier of Prof. Stefan Gierowski in 1972.Also studied graphic design in the atelier of Prof. Halina Chrostowska.Co-founder of the group "Sympleks S 4". Following the example of his professor Stefan Gierowski, a classic of Polish geometric abstraction, his work began with "warm" abstraction, with metaphorical titles. He created in cycles - abstractions created in the 1970s he put into cycles "Man in space", "Mystery of the four-armed figure", "Romantic". He cultivated expressive painting, thematically devoted to human suffering, referring to religious experiences . He had dozens of solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. Works in museum collections and private collections at home and in Italy, France, Finland, England, Switzerland and the USA. Since 1972, he was a teaching employee of his alma mater - until his death in 2016, he ran a painting studio at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts.
