Biography
From 1997 to 2002 she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow at the Faculty of Painting. In 2009 she defended her doctoral thesis entitled. "Study of the heart" at her alma mater. She does easel painting, drawing and short literary forms. She has participated in more than 160 group exhibitions and about 50 individual exhibitions. In 2022, she received the title of professor in the discipline of art. In 2017, she won the 2nd prize in the 4th Piotrków Art Biennale. In 2016 - Grand Prix Award of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in the 4th Triennale of Polish Contemporary Painting, Autumn Confrontations, BWA Rzeszow. In 2015, she won a Special Prize in the 3rd Piotrkow Trybunalski Art Biennale in Piotrkow Trybunalski. In 2012 she was in the finals of the international Strabag competition in Vienna. In 2010 she was awarded 1st prize in the 8th Triennial of Small Painting Forms - Torun 2010 at the Wozownia Art Gallery in Torun. In 2010-1012 she was a co-creator and coordinator of the international art project Suburbs carried out by the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow with partners from Vienna and Ostrava. She is the organizer of the national competition Disruptions implemented at UKEN and curator of Fosfor Art Gallery in Krakow. In 2019 she received the Creative Scholarship of the City of Krakow. She is active in the duo Black Plant, promoting drawings and tattoos. She runs Studio 16 with painting activities. Professor at UKEN in Krakow, Faculty of Art.
