Painter, illustrator and professor of fine arts. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland,
Where in 2002 she received a diploma with distinction in the studio of Prof. Adam
Brincken, and in 2009 defended her doctoral thesis "Study of the Heart". In 2022, she received the
the title of full professor. She has won numerous awards, including the Grand Prix of the Minister of
Culture and National Heritage at the 4th Triennial of Polish Painting
Contemporary Painting in Rzeszów (2016) and 2nd prize at the 4th Piotrków Biennale of
Art (2017). Nominated for the "Polityka" Passport (2011) and a finalist in the competition
Strabag in Vienna (2012).
She has participated in more than 170 group exhibitions and realized about 50 exhibitions
solo exhibitions at home and abroad. An active curator and animator of artistic life
artistic life - she co-created the international project "Suburbs", is the
founder of Fosfor Art Gallery in Krakow and initiator of the nationwide competition
"Disruptions." She is also active in the artistic duo Black Plant, combining
painting, drawing and tattoo art. Her work, set in the area of figurative painting
figurative, explores themes of identity, corporeality and human relations,
often with references to literature and popular culture. The artist's works can be found in
private and institutional collections in Poland and abroad.
