Franciszek Maśluszczak
Born in 1948 in Kotlice/k. Zamosc.
Painter, draughtsman, graphic artist. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Diploma in 1974. Member of ZPAP since1975.
Individual exhibitions of the artist's paintings and drawings in museums, Institutes of Polish Culture, galleries of BWA and Houses of Culture and participation in group exhibitions at home and abroad. Since 2000. - Among others: the S .Kulisiewicz Museum , Kalisz 2000, ZPAP gallery Warsaw 2001, National Museum - Nieborów-Arkadia 2003. , City Museum in Wroclaw 2006, Silesian Museum, Katowice 2007. , Museum of Lubuska Land , Zielona Góra 2010, Palace of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Jablonna 2013. , Dzikowski Castle Museum in Tarnobrzeg 2014. , Mazovian Museum in Plock 2014.
Works in numerous museum collections , among others , in the National Museum in Krakow, Szczecin and Nieborów - Arcadia, Silesian Museum in Katowice, the Historical Museum in Zamość, the Tokyo Peace Museum, the City Museum in Ghent, Helsinki , Vitebsk and the Bruno Schulz Museum in Drohobych.
The works are accompanied by reviews, interviews, films and discussions in the press, radio and TV. Films: 'Worlds of Franciszek Maśluszczak', dir. H. Kramarczuk , 'Painted City' dir. J. Nowak, 'Jesus in Ursynów' dir.A. Gomolka, 'My Warsaw' dir.M.Skalska .
In 2007 TVP Kultura presented the program 'Sunday with Franciszek Maśluszczak' .
