A Polish artist whose primary medium is watercolor. In her work, she combines black with delicate, subtle colors, creating understated, atmospheric compositions. Her paintings balance the power of black against the lightness and transparency of watercolor. Black is not merely an element that contrasts with color—it becomes a means of constructing space, rhythm, and emotion. The artist deliberately leaves part of the composition understated, using the white of the paper and light as integral elements of the painting.
In her works, she primarily explores the themes of landscape and nature, though she is not interested in faithfully reproducing reality. She treats the landscape as a starting point for constructing her own, often more abstract and emotional image of space. A hallmark of her painting is the juxtaposition of strong, decisive forms with the delicacy and spontaneity characteristic of watercolor. As a result, her paintings remain both expressive and full of subtlety.
