Zakłady Materiałów Ogniotrwałych "Jaroszów" / JARO S.A., Jaroszów - a plant with traditions dating back to the 19th century, originally associated with the exploitation of refractory clays and production of refractory materials. During the communist period, in addition to basic industrial production, it also produced ceramic and stoneware decorative forms, including vases, jugs and ikebana dishes, today prized by collectors of functional ceramics. In 1945, the plant was taken over as Jaroszowskie Zakłady Materiałów Ogniotrwałych (Jaroszowskie Zakłady Materiałów Ogniotrwałych), in 1995 it was transformed into a one-person company of the State Treasury, and since 1998 it has been operating under the name JARO S.A.
