Kotarbinski and W. Skoczylas. He debuted at the exhibition of the Association of Graphic Artists Ryt. During the first years of his career, he devoted himself mainly to woodcut work. During the war he stayed in Szlembark /there he created an early series of woodcuts/ and Cracow - during this time he perfected his basic technique - drawing. After the war, the series Warsaw 1945 was created. He traveled a lot, visited China, Mexico, Brazil, India, European countries. Travels became the inspiration for artistic cycles of drawings depicting the visited countries - their landscape, nature and, above all, the people living there. He operated with an extremely concise, economical line, achieving a drawing with a very strong, clear expression. He liked to draw female silhouettes, nudes - he devoted a large part of his works to this subject. He was a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He died in 1988.
