Born near Szczecin, the author was mainly a sculptor and designer of majolica in Kadyny. He made many works in Szczecin, including a statue of Sedina and "Lapita's fight with a centaur". He was married to Alicja Tonn from Naklo. Few drawings by this artist have survived. Only one drawing has been exhibited in Germany over the past 20 years, achieving a high price.
