Large print. The author mainly painted paintings, made prints rarely. He was the son of a painter and brother of two painters. His works at auctions are rated higher than the rest of his family. He studied at the Academy in Düsseldorf and Antwerp. He had studios in Paris and Florence. He later stayed in Berlin where he worked with Max Liebermann and Lovis Corinth. This print is not listed in public collections, nor has it been at world auction since the early 21st century.
