Pencil, watercoulor and white lead on brown paper, cm. 31,3x26,4.

The drawing is a replica of the episode of the Women at the Empty Tomb, part of the cycle of frescoes painted by Beato Angelico for the Monastry of San Marco in Florence between 1439 and 1443.

The sheet bears a handwritten pencil note on the verso: "IN BASSO SI LEGGE: DAL BEATO ANGELICO FIRENZE NEL CONVENTO DI S. MARCO / SOGGETTO IL SEPOLCRO VUOTO".
