W. Górski (1822-1902) - landowner, historian, book collector. "In 1845 he graduated from law in Kharkiv and began to collect a book collection on Polish history and literature. He also had archives, manuscripts, collections of engravings and numismatics. The collection was
first in Górski's estate in Sledzie (Podolia gubernia, Haisyansk district), then from 1872 in Zhytomyr, then from 1878 in Warsaw, and after 1887 in Kotuiżany. In 1885 he donated his collection of engravings (about 4,000) to the National Museum in Cracow, 500 autographs were purchased after his death by Kazimierz Podwysocki, and the rest went to the Jagiellonian Library and the Krasinski Library in Warsaw" (Podniesinska).
