The artist, a native of Austria, married the painter Karl Mediz. She studied in Munich and Paris. She created works in the style of Impressionism and Symbolism, showing mainly nature, especially trees. She painted pictures but more often made prints and drawings, exhibiting them in the salon of the Vienna Secession. Her outstanding painting "Spring in the Forest" was exhibited in NY at Sotheby's in 2006 for $200,000. This print has not been at auction in the World since 2000, nor is it included in descriptions of the artist's work.
