"Head of Picasso" is one of Andy Warhol'slaterworks, created in 1985. Thiswork ispart ofa series of works inwhich Warholreinterpreted images of famous cultural figures, including otherartists. This composition is atributeto Pablo Picasso, one of the mostinfluential and recognizableartists of the20th century.
"Picasso's Head" depicts a portrait of Pablo Picasso, with distinctive features of his face, such as expressive eyes, nose and mouth, stylized in a manner typical of Warhol's aesthetics. The portrait is dynamic and colorful, with strong outlines and flat patches of intense colors. Picasso's stylized image isboldandeye-catching, which is typical of Warhol's technique.
