Gothic Madonna with child
Standing figure in contraposto on a carved grass base; the posture slightly S-shaped in the style of the retarded tradition of the ‘Beautiful Madonnas’. The head held at an angle. Shroud laid in emphasised pointed folds. The child sits in the crook of her left arm and holds a globe, her little foot in her mother's hand. Height: 62 cm.
