Ryszard Horowitz (born May 5, 1939 in Cracow) - photographer and photographer working in the United States; pioneer of computer processing of photography; co-founder of the American Association of Advertising Photographers APA.
He graduated from the Cracow High School of Fine Arts. Studied at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Since 1959 he has been living in New York, USA. In the United States, he studied at the Pratt Institute. He worked for many agencies, including as an art director. Since November 1967 he has had his own photo agency. His work has been published and exhibited around the world.
In October 2012, he received an honorary doctorate from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw.
He has presented his works in many group and solo exhibitions around the world.
