The building of the Commercial Bank of Lodz, which was built in 1911-1913 the building of the defunct bank of Lodz with headquarters at 15 Kosciuszko Avenue. The bank was established in 1872 on the initiative of Karol Scheibler. The bank operated until 1936. The heir to the Commercial Bank became the Lodz branch of the Postal Savings Bank, which, after its bankruptcy, purchased the building in 1936 and moved its headquarters there.
