A Biedermeier-style chest of two drawers veneered in fine burl wood, featuring natural partridge-eye grain patterns. The piece features a green marble top set within a gilded metal frame with an openwork design. The front is defined by freestanding columns topped with gilded bronze capitals depicting classical-style warrior busts and decorated with cross-shaped metal appliqués. The upper drawer is adorned with a central neoclassical relief frieze and ring handles featuring lion masks, which are also present on the lower drawer. The lower section includes a curved shelf, surmounted by a mirrored panel set into the back panel. The construction features light-colored woods typical of 19th-century Central European furniture. No marks, signatures, or manufacturer’s labels are visible on the exterior surfaces.
