Miniature purse (accessory to a ball purse) of gold mesh framed at the top by a decorative bezel with a clip-on ball clasp. At the clasp there is a movable stud. On the bezel French test marks
(in force since 1838) with the head of an eagle and the goldsmith's mark - monogram "AA". - in a rhombus.
