Marcelina Maria Matynia - artist, sculptor from the Świętokrzyskie province. Graduated from the J. Szermentowski State High School of Fine Arts in Kielce with a specialization in sculptural techniques (2019).
Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz with a major in sculpture (2023).
She participated in the Lower Silesian Glass Symposium "State of Glass" (2022) ending with an exhibition, Light Move Festival in Lodz (2022) and ReMake Festival (2021). She collaborated with the Reclaim the Environment Foundation, creating the ecological "BeeJuteria" (2022).
The artist's paintings are surrealistic imagery, where the work transports the viewer into a world full of unusual associations, symbols and dreamlike visions. The artist draws inspiration from her own imagination, not limiting herself to realistic depictions, but building alternative realities full of emotions and hidden meanings. The color palette often contrasts, intensifying the effect of unreality and subconscious associations, here she creates her own unique visual language....
