Signature p.d.: M. Borowicz
It took me many years to find what I want to paint, what I want to talk about with my paintings. Often these things are not light, easy and pleasant. They deal with the transience of life, the inevitability of death, constant change, loss and chaos. But also the uniqueness of life. I like to paint people who seem seemingly perfect in this world full of chaos. But these perfect bodies are full of symbolic scars that life adds with age. I like to tell about feelings and emotions that make our lives important and ourselves better: closeness, love, devotion, responsibility, hope, perseverance.... We are only a part of nature, and everything that surrounds us, that we have created, is temporary. There is nothing more beautiful than finding ourselves in these fractions of moments we have been given, which we call life. There is nothing more beautiful than becoming better folk
