A powerful wine. Totally in keeping with the character of the 2010 vintage. Full-bodied, intense, with very firm tannins and outlined acidity. More refinement than the hedonistic 2009.
A deep color what a bouquet, with layers of aromas ranging from dark fruits like currants, blueberries and blackberries, through strong mineral, rocky accents to sweet smoke, dark chocolate and sweet spices. The tremendous concentration, power and expressiveness here is balanced by really good, fresh and energetic acidity.
62% cabernet sauvignon, 37% merlot, 1% cabernet franc. With potential for several decades.
