Château Musar White 0.75L 11.5%, 2017 vintage

Château Musar White 0.75L 11.5%, 2017 vintage Château Musar Wite is a blend of Obaideh 60% and Merwah 40% grown on the slopes of Mount Lebanon in the Bekaa Valley. Obaideh was harvested first on September 19, earlier than usual, directly due to weather conditions, and Merwah on September 27. Both Obaideh and Merwah were fermented in new French Nevers oak barrels for 9 months, blended and bottled in the summer of 2018, after cold stabilization. Powerful aromas permeated the winery during pressing. The release of the vintage a took place in the spring of 2023. Château Musar White is a wine with a pale lemon color and aromas of apples, fresh hay with hints of vanilla and grapefruit. The nose shows notes of orange blossom, which carry through to the palate with sweet basil, peach and tarte tatin, which will develop as the wine ages. Estimated price: £262-290
